Pame means “let’s go” in Greek.
It’s what you say when you head out with people
you like.
We’re a bakery, café and lunch spot at Brown Boveri Platz.
Everything we sell here is made by us, five minutes from here. Our bakery kitchen is at Appetitlich on Bruggerstrasse, and it gets going hours before we open. Croissants, pain au chocolat, pain aux amandes, cinnamon rolls, sourdough bread; laminated, proofed and baked by our own bakers. No frozen dough, no ready-made mixes, nothing bought in.
We make our hummus from chickpeas we cook ourselves. You can taste the shortcut. Same goes for tzatziki, the pickles and every dip, every dressing and every sauce that ends up on a bowl. None of it arrives in a bucket.
We make the coffee right in front of you. Beans from UNO, roasted locally. We also do it the Greek way—over ice, as a Freddo Espresso and Freddo Cappuccino. That’s how half of Greece drinks its coffee, and Baden should know it.
LUNCH
Lunch is Mediterranean and depends on the weather. Braises when it gets cold; lighter plates, cold combinations and the grill in summer. Seasonal ingredients wherever we can get them, which is most of the time.
SATURDAY
Saturday is brunch, 09:00 to 14:00. The day you come as a pair or a group instead of alone with your laptop, and when the pastry shelf is fullest. A day for a slower morning that sets the tone for the weekend.
EVENTS
Some evenings we open for something different. A burger night, an apéro, a dinner with a guest chef, a run club that ends on the terrace. Not every week, not always the same—and there’ll be more. Spaces are limited, so booking early is worth it.
